We offer FREE DELIVERY for AUSTRALIA and NEW ZEALAND on purchases over $200, or a flat rate of AU$ 25 for purchases below that amount. Depending on where you are, delivery times are 4 to 6 business days.
If you are in WESTERN EUROPE, ASIA or THE PACIFIC we charge a flat rate of AU$ 45 and it will take between 6 to 13 days for you to receive your parcel.

Once there was a little girl called Imelda who really loved shoes.
When Imelda grew up she married a corrupt but relatively handsome dictator who embezzled millions of dollars from the Philippine government. This meant that she could go completely crazy on amassing A WHOLE LOT of beautiful shoes. When that dictator was finally brought down in 1986, authorities raided their palatial residence in Manilla and found an abandoned collection of around 3,000 (THREE THOUSAND!) pairs of designer shoes…
Around about the same time, in a land far, far away in a small town in Australia, there was another little girl who also loved shoes. When she grew up her friends often joked with her about this obsession tagging her with the nickname “Imelda”….
What started with a little bit of love grew into a lifelong obsession.
What followed was a colourful life of travel, wanderlust, and design during the ’90s leading me to encounter a myriad of talented makers and creators. I dreamt of sharing what I had found. In 2013 I opened a little store in Mullumbimby called Tinker Tailor Dancer Trader, filled to the brim with a collection of things I loved. Over the past 7 years, both our store and our amazing Tinker Tailor family have continued to evolve. And now we have shoes, lots of beautiful shoes!
Naturally, my inner Imelda has now “come out of the closet”.
Working closely with our incredible designers in Italy, Spain, Germany, Portugal, and Argentina we have the privilege of bringing you custom made shoes from some of the best in the world, mostly made only to order and made especially for us. Many of our designs and colours you will find nowhere else but here, in our Closet.
From one Imelda to another, we’re bringing you something fabulous and unique, not only spectacular and innovative in design but where quality, finish, and attention to detail is paramount. We developed this “e-closet” with a lot of hard work since it is done pretty much 100% by us.
